What was happening in August 2008!

   The club is closed for regular guest nights during August.
As usual, there are plans for SINGAROUNDS, probably every Tuesday except the 12th.
So please drop in and join in, or sing along to the choruses, or just have a drink and listen.
Check with Colin (via Pam's email address pam@collsp.plus.com ) if you want to be sure that it is going ahead.
On the 26th August there will be a MEAL and CHAT for club regulars.
Meet at Twins Noodle Bar in Copperfields, from 7.00 onwards.
Afterwards, it's just a short walk to the Working Men's Club and the singaround, so bring your instrument along.
There is an excellent programme at Broadstairs Folk Week - 8th to 15th August.
On Bank Holiday Monday 25th August, Rick Townend will be hosting his annual bluegrass festival at St Julian's Club, Sevenoaks From Kentucky to Kent UK
There are picking sessions, workshops, a barn dance and an evening concert celebrating the music of Andy Townend (£13/£8 concessions).
